Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 20 August 2026

The short version

Use the service to find and listen to music. Do not use it to attack the service, to resell it, or to break the law.

Not permitted

  • Bulk scraping or mirroring of the catalog, in whole or in substantial part.
  • Sharing or reselling an API key, or providing access to third parties as though it were your own service.
  • Circumventing rate limits, plan limits, or the download IP binding.
  • Automated behaviour that degrades the service for others.
  • Using the index to distribute material you have no right to distribute.

Rate limits

Every plan has limits, returned on each API response. Sustained attempts to exceed them will result in throttling and, if repeated, suspension.

The API key binding

Download endpoints bind your key to the first address that uses them. This exists to prevent key sharing. Search, capabilities and streaming do not bind, so testing from another device is safe. You can reset the binding from your dashboard.

Broadcasting

If you use the service to feed a station, obtaining the correct performance and mechanical licences for your territory is your responsibility. We index music; we do not license it to you.

Enforcement

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that breach this policy. Where the breach is accidental and resolved, we will normally warn first.
